Pavel Cmovs vs Robin Singh
Pavel Cmovs has made more clearances for his side than any other player (18). The Czechoslovakian has started in every game for Mumbai this season and has developed a strong understanding with Mumbai City FC skipper Frantz Bertin at the heart of defence.
Cmovs will have his hands full with Robin Singh leading Delhi’s attack. The tall and powerful target man offers the Dynamos an attacking focal point. His aerial ability will also pose a major concern for Mumbai’s defence. His header on his Hero ISL debut against Chennaiyin FC is testament to that.
Selim Benachour vs Florent Malouda
Selim Benachour is another individual to have featured in all of Mumbai’s outing this season. The French international brings a wealth of experience at the centre of the park for Mumbai.
Florent Malouda’s ability to unlock opposition defences was there for all to see during the Lions’ last encounter against Kerala Blasters FC. It was his perfectly hit cross late in the game that found the head of Richard Gadze to make it three wins on the trot for the Dynamos.
Sony Norde vs Souvik Chakraborty
Arguably Mumbai’s biggest attacking threat, Sony Norde has been a constant menace on the left side of MCFC’s attack. The Haitian’s endearing work-rate is a nightmare for defences. He has attempted more crosses (16) and shots (13) than any other player in Mumbai City FC.
Traditionally a midfielder, Souvik Chakraborty has taken to his new role on the right side of Delhi’s backline like a fish to water. A versatile player, Chakraborty has made the most of his opportunity at the back by cementing his spot in Delhi’s defence.
Mumbai City FC against Delhi Dynamos FC is set to be a thrilling encounter as Mumbai can be expected to go out all guns blazing against a Delhi side who will be aware that a win will take them to the top the table. Both sides have plenty of game changers that are capable of coming off the bench and alter the course of games. ref:- IndianSuperLeague
